The Challenges We Face

Uganda does not have enough government funding to provide all levels of education to the students. This lack of support is also a reality when it comes to roads, public transportation, water, hospitals, and every other form of infrastructure that would help students determine their own destiny.

Along with these challenges in education, many families have been devastated by the global COVID-19 pandemic. Rising inflation and the global recession has made food prices, gas prices and basic necessities a challenge to maintain for many families. These challenges trap families into poverty, leads to high drop out rates, and children often have to financially support their families.  We now must provide resources to build a school that draws out the potential of every child while providing a foundation for community self reliance.
